Last issue we asked for your feedback
to help us shape the Society’s
award-winning magazine. Most
who responded (67%) had read four
or more issues and respondents,
representing all age groups, had been
diagnosed as recently as several months
ago to more than two decades ago.
When asked to name the single
topic they’d most like to read about,
nearly half said either managing
daily living (23%) or living well with
MS (21%). Nineteen percent chose
research to end MS.
Twice as many readers (66%) said
they would prefer a broad range of
information rather than an in-depth
focus on a specific topic (34%).
Readers were especially passionate
when suggesting more coverage on
topics like alternative therapies and
progressive MS. “Taking an active role
in my health and pursuing alternative
treatments in careful combination with
my disease-modifying medication gives
me a sense of control and hope over
how I live every day,” one reader wrote.
